The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist has the responsibility to administer safe analgesia and anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist or physician. The CRNA will provide resuscitation services througho! ut the hospital. The CRNA will demonstrate an awareness of the objectives of PNHS and the department and will participate in attaining those goals. Education/Experience: Graduate from an approved School of Nursing and from an approve School of Anesthesia. Baccalaureate degree in nursing and masterâs degree in anesthesia or related-field preferred. Participates in oneâs professional organization (desirable). Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Minnesota. Certified by the Council on Certification or Board eligible. Currently recertified by the Council on Recertification of the AANA. Fulfill credentialing requirements of PNHS. BCLS & ACLS certified (or willing to become ASAP after employment) Effective communication skills. Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Computer keyboarding (desirable)

Must be flexible to meet the sc! heduling needs for the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Schedule is M - F (4 days x 10 hours) 0615 starts. Saturdays in December.
