Description: Fairview is currently seeking to employ Medical Assistant right now, this occupation will be designated in Minnesota. The Preoperative Assessment Center (PAC) certified medical assistant performs delegated medical procedures and support functions under the direction of an Anesthesiologist, Nurse Practitioner, and RN staff in the delivery of care for all preoperative patient populations. The CMA is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure and practice guidelines. Rotate between PAC and Acute Pain Center.
Job Qualifications:
Vocational /Technical Training or Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. Medical Assistant Certification (MN) Maintains certification by retesting or by maintaining required CEU level as determined by the AAMA. BLS. 1 to 3 years experience.
