We are looking for dedicated and driven Security Guards to join our team in various locations across Los Angeles County.
As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of duties and tasks based on contract specifications and site-specific post orders.
Your primary role will be to ensure the safety and security of the facilities you are assigned to protect. By maintaining a visible presence, you will deter criminal activity and identify and report any suspicious, unsafe, or criminal actions that could pose a threat to the property, clients, guests, or employees on site.
Key Responsibilities and Duties may include:
- Engaging with a diverse range of people, such as clients, visitors, employees, contractors, and the general public
- Remaining vigilant for any potentially dangerous situations
- Accurately documenting daily activities in Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
- Conducting routine patrols to ensure doors, gates, and windows are securely locked
- Monitoring the premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions
- Constantly surveying assigned areas
- Warning those who violate premises rules and regulations
- Reporting any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Valid Guard Card
- Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- For armed security guards, a valid firearms permit issued by BSIS and possession of your own firearm
- Reliable transportation to and from all worksites, along with up-to-date contact information
- Clean, pressed security uniforms with black shoes to be worn while on duty
- Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods
- A strong sense of integrity and a commitment to protecting and serving others
- Keen attention to detail
- Punctuality is essential
Physical Requirements and Environment:
- May be exposed to outdoor environments with varying temperature ranges, from moderate to extreme cold and heat
- Involves walking, standing, speaking, listening, and observing

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
