Assistant Cook:

Full-Time Openings Available - Rate: $24.29/hourly

The Assistant Cooks are responsible to assist first cook with the preparation and production of food items for patient and Cafeteria meal service according to menu requirements and specifications: Responsible to prepare all items in a busy kitchen as requested on special tally, etc. Maintains clean, safe food preparation work environment. Receiving, issuing, inventory and storage duties in both dry and cold storage areas. Weighs, measures, counts, arranges and labels ingredients required for standardized recipes. Places orders with vendors using the department software to input/print orders. Maintains FIFO system.

Dietary Associates:

Per Diem Openings Available - Rate: $21.92/hourly

The Dietary Associate is responsible for preparation and service of food items as per menu specifications for patients' meal service. Prepares between meal and other nourishments as needed. Works assigned station on patient tray line. Responsible for cleanliness of work area and for safe, sanitary handling of food, equipment and supplies. Prepares various cold foods: salads, sandwiches, fruits, desserts, beverages and serves hot food. Maintains and verifies cash bank and cash on hand. Maintains FIFO system. Responsible for the sanitation of work, storage, table and seating areas. Work with the department dietary software to collect/input/print patients’ menu selections.

Sanitarians:

Per Diem Openings Available - Rate: $21.92/hourly

The Sanitarians are responsible for overall cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and pot-washing areas, dish-machine room and cart washing area on a rotating basis. Maintains cleanliness of all major pieces of production equipment and small-wares utilized in production and service. Responsible for dishwashing and ware-washing from patient tray service and cafeteria service. Operates, maintains and sanitizes dish machine. Delivers and retrieves food trucks to/from each patient unit at mealtime.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.92 - $24.29 per hour
