Job Title: Responsive Web Designer/Developer
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and develop responsive web pages that are visually appealing, easy to navigate and user-friendly.
Develop and maintain front-end components, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end designs with server-side technology.
Work with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide design recommendations.
Optimize web pages for speed and scalability.
Ensure web pages are compliant with web standards and accessibility guidelines.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web design and development.
Test web pages across multiple browsers, devices and platforms.
Troubleshoot and debug web page issues.
Document design specifications and coding standards.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a responsive web designer/developer.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with responsive web design frameworks, such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
Familiarity with front-end development tools and technologies, such as Git, Grunt, Gulp, and Webpack.
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and techniques for addressing them.
Experience with web performance optimization techniques.
Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in responsive web design/development.
