Trading as Mondelez Production Ireland, we are seeking the below candidate to join our Cadbury team as we continue on our growth and Lean, continuous improvement journey. Our Chocolate manufacturing plant is based 10 minutes for the M50/ M1 interchange, is high highly automated and offers opportunity for learning and progression. Key brands manufactured at the site include Twirl, Flake, Boost and the Ireland favourite, Cadbury Dairy Milk.

Job Profile Summary

You will manage the detailed planning, development, and execution of capital projects and engineering related activities to ensure fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered within our Confectionary manufacturing plant. In all projects the highest levels of quality, safety, environmental requirements and best practices will be adhered too.

How you will contribute

  • Full Project Management responsibility of plant & capex for technical engineering projects
  • Work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects
  • Manage the project design phase along with URS (User Requirement Specification) with local teams to meet the requirements and with the 3rd party supplier.
  • Carry our Factory Acceptance Testing at third party site to ensure specifications are met
  • Manage the Installation process which will include dealing with the equipment manufacturer, contractors and facilities within a working environment
  • Manage commissioning to ensure achievement of the project deliverables
  • Plant verification and performance assessment to meet an acceptable Site Assessment Test
  • Organise Employee training in conjunctions with the 3rd party equipment supplier and local teams.
  • Manage several capital project executions in parallel ensuring the quality and the results of capital projects meet Mondelēz standards
  • Manage engineering resources, external contractors, and safe working practices to Mondelez standards and procedures.
  • Ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented

What you will bring:

  • You will have a strong technical engineering background to enable you to understand user requirements specifications and challenge 3rd party technical proposals
  • Proven track record in managing plant Capex projects, from €100,000’s through to millions.
  • Strong project management skills ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within specification and budget.
  • Excellent and articulate communications skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders / contractors / Equipment manufacturers.
