Roles and Responsibilities
- Supplier performance monitoring such as Score cards, Rating, PPM and on time data reporting to Globa
- Root cause analysis with 8D methodology and implementing CAPA for the Child part related complaints reported from BorgWarner Incoming / In process / Customer. On time closure of 8D.
- Initiate Containment action for supplier issues to ensure BorgWarner production and dispatch process running smoothly.
- To support BorgWarner Supply Chain team for delivery failures from suppliers due to Quality issues.
- Conducting supplier audits as and when required like Annual based / Complaint based / Customer requirement.
- To get Product Lay out / Capability reports as per Plan.
- Cost Recovery to be done for poor quality from suppliers.
- Risk assessment, feasibility commitment and On Time implementation for ECNs / PCNs
Desired Skills:
- Must be from Automotive background.
Knowledge 7QC tools, A3 /8D /G8D, IATF 16949, ECN, 4M change management, VAVE task, APQP, PPAP, System audit, Process & product audit, SPC, MSA
- MUST be skilled enough to handle Plastic, Stamping, Rubber category parts as minimum.
- Cost saving ideas, Poka Yoke, Kaizens
- Sound working level skill set for Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SAP (if possible)
Good communication skills with professional attitude
