We're currently recruiting for an anesthesiologist in Minnesota! Physician will be covering at a surgery center Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm. 4-5 cases per day, mostly orthopedics and plastic surgery. Facility has 1 anesthesiologist and 1 CRNA on-site that works independently. Board Certification is required. Lodging and mileage are provided.
As a critical care specialist responsible for pain management and the maintenance of vital life functions, anesthesiologists(locum tenens) are an integral part of the operating room. Anesthesiologists meet with patients in a preoperative setting to determine the best and safest course of action for pain management during the medical procedure, evaluating the patient's medical history in order to come up with the optimal course of action. During medical procedures, anesthesiologists monitor heart rate, blood pressure and other bodily functions and administer appropriate anes! thesia.
