Our convenient services include on-site urgent care, a same-day surgery center, imaging (X-ray) services, a lab, pharmacy and more than 50 family and specialty physician clinics. Responsibilities Prepares operating room and anesthesia equipment to facilitate smooth operation of surgical suite and to optimize client's a! nesthesia experience Coordinates patient care with WestHealth ! staff, anesthesiologists and surgeons to develop best anesthesia/surgical plan for each patient Delivers consistently high quality anesthesia care to WestHealth patients in accordance with AANA Guidelines for Nurse Anesthesia Participates in WestHealth initiatives to improve service and quality of care to our patients Develops personal competency in providing professional anesthesia care Supports efforts to maintain smooth operations of surgery and anesthesia departments Qualifications Education/Experience: Registered Nurse with current Minnesota licensure. Compliance with all state regulations. Graduation from an approved program of nurse anesthesia Certification as CRNA by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council of Certification and compliance with all requirements for biennial recertification Minimum 3 years prior experience as a CRNA Licensure/Certifications: ACLS BLS Current Minnesota RN license RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a gradu! ate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility.
