Description: Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital is at present recruited General Surgeon right now, this vacancy will be reside in Minnesota. The practice is General Surgery, with a full time clinic practice as well as attending to hospitalized patients. The surgery call schedule is one in four. While the practice is general ! surgery, there is also the ability for individual surgeons to develop their own areas of expertise and specialization. The hospital has five operating rooms and is staffed with Board Certified Anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
Grand Itasca has developed a Hospitalist service to assist in the management of hospital patients. General Surgeons work closely with our Emergency Department Physicians; the E.D. has a monthly volume of roughly 1,600 patient visits. The ED has a Level III Trauma designation.
