Company Description
We are a small woman owned spice company based in Woburn, MA. We are in our 25th year of business, continuing to create our unique spice blends to help make simple and flavorful food.
We are looking for a creative person to become our new Social Media Coordinator. You will be responsible for creating reels and posts, engaging with social media comments, building social media followers, and posting content across our social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
You would be expected to:

- Create content for social media platforms, including: using a post scheduling application or software, writing captions, using applicable hashtags, and posting reels and photos.
- Building follower count and interactions across all platforms, as well as drive attention towards the website and Shopify storefront
- Be responsible for communicating with followers through responding to both comments and direct messages across all platforms
- Be familiar enough with our brand to be able to answer customer questions and respond to other brands reaching out through social media
- Schedule and post daily content across all platforms, create ads when needed
- Track stats of all platforms as well as effectiveness of ads and sales across all platforms
- Stay up to date on current trends and incorporate them into our posts
- Create and send newsletters to our subscribers
- Create website slides for the homepage of our website that coincide with the newsletters and current sales
- Bonus: you would develop recipes using our products as part of content, to add to our catalog of over 400 recipes
Qualifications
- 1+ years social media experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (mainly Instagram and Facebook)
- Understanding of social media scheduling software (such as later or skedsoc)
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Proficiency in various video and image software in order to create new content (such as Adobe, Canva, etc)
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- We need someone with creative ideas on how to grow the brand
- Have a love for food and a desire to work with our products to create simple, easy recipes
Compensation
Compensation for this position is hourly, $18-20 depending on your experience.
This is a part time position. Flexible Schedule.
This is a remote position.
