Corporate Receptionist


 

Well known Biotech company seeks Receptionist candidate to serve as first point of contact at front desk and receive visitors, guests and employees. This role is the "face of the company" and will manage the security of the company and be responsible to greet, escort and sign in every visitor. In addition to keeping the company secure this role is asked to help keep the office as inviting and pristine as possible for all.

*Biotech/Pharmaceutical/Life Science industry experience is required

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

-Greet, escort, and sign in every visitor. Notify the appropriate party upon their arrival. Monitor logbook and issue visitor badges
-Screen and handle all situations politely and professionally
-Answer and direct incoming phone calls, forward voicemails to the appropriate person
-Provide direction and scheduling with vendors
-Manage lunches for meetings, including ordering and room set-up/clean-up. Keep updated records of expenses and costs with receipts for Finance
-Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as printing labels, signs, nameplates, updating seating chart
-Daily general upkeep duties, such as preparing coffee, setting up conference rooms, always keeping the café areas and conference rooms stocked & tidy
]-Maintain Class “A” work environment. Notify facilities team of needed maintenance in office areas and conference rooms (cleaning of white boards, hazards, etc.)
-Assist with set-up for All-Company meetings, happy hours etc.
-Collect and deliver mail
-Aid facility team with shipments
-Additional duties as needed

Education, Experience, and Key Attribute Requirements:

-Biotech/Pharmaceutical/Life Science industry experience
-Associates degree preferred
-Over 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist preferred
-Proficiency in MS Office, Word and Outlook
-Ability to collaborate and work successfully with a diverse group of colleagues
-Reliable with a helpful attitude and courteous disposition
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Time management skills with the ability to properly prioritize
-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
-Strong technology skills using a variety of communication modalities. Hands-on experience with office equipment
-Be an effective team player, a strong individual contributor, flexible, and able to handle multiple tasks at once
-Open-minded with the willingness to learn new things

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
