Pay Details:
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $144,880 to $177,076 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.

The proposed 95-acre, mixed-use ocV!BE development will feature:
  • A new 5,700-capacity concert venue
  • A sustainable community emphasizing walkability, health and wellness, and lifestyle amenities near transit
  • 1.1+ million square feet of office space, including a new 325,000-square-foot office building
  • 1,500 residential units, including a commitment of 15% affordable housing units
  • 20 acres of public space including four unique plazas and multiple urban parks
  • A nearly 5-acre riverfront park, featuring an outdoor amphitheater with the ability to host seasonal outdoor concerts and events
  • 230,000 square feet of retail including 30+ restaurant concepts and a market hall featuring diverse offerings
  • Uniquely themed and intimate clubs
  • Two hotels, consisting of 550 rooms total, thematically aligned with the energy of the district
  • Nearly 11,000 Parking Spaces in 4 structured parking garages featuring 7,150 spaces, 1,000 surface employee parking spaces, and nearly 2,850 dedicated parking spaces for residential and hotels

As we continue to expand and diversify our portfolio with the development of the ocV!BE project, it becomes increasingly important to have subject matter experts to help lead this exciting effort. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Parking and Transportation, the Director of Parking and Transportation serves as a key executive for the Company and plays a significant role in managing the strategic direction and daily operation of the ocV!BE District. In partnership with the entire Parking & Transportation team, the Director is charged with assisting in the build-out of the department, including the establishment of systems, setting up group-wide processes and governance, determining the culture, implementing technologies to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the safety and security functions, and other key activities essential to the development of a nimble, smart, collaborative, and highly effective department. The Director of Transportation & Parking will also provide advice on functional areas as needed and will support the broader operations team.
Summary of Position
This is a full-time position located within the Transportation & Parking Department at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. This individual will coordinate traffic with critical stakeholders, including APD (Anaheim Police Department), Traffic Control, Cal Trans, and the City of Anaheim’s Traffic Management Department. This position will also be responsible for the financial reconciliation and reporting of all event parking revenue while ensuring the guest service experience is delivered exceptionally and consistently at all guest touchpoints. The Director will manage the parking staff and will be responsible for creating staffing plans, hiring, training, and scheduling.
In addition to the daily duties at the Honda Center, this position will work closely with the Vice President, Parking and Transportation on the ocV!BE transportation and parking plan. ocV!BE is a transformational project for Orange County and is the premier mixed-use community and live entertainment district coming to Anaheim in 2026. This will include managing the creation and implementation of resort-wide transportation, parking, and auto/pedestrian mobility plans for both internal and external patrons. The incumbent oversees all daily transportation and parking operations and long-term planning for future operational needs. This position requires a self-motivated individual capable of providing excellent customer service to all clients both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of parking lot operations and employee assignments during event days
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise promptly and professionally
  • Prepare and maintain complimentary parking lists for events and coordinate parking needs with other departments
  • Ensure proper revenue reporting and daily deposit procedures, and event POS device reconciliation
  • Produce revenue reports and event updates after each event
  • Create custom operating manuals and update existing operating procedures as needed
  • Review department technology needs to identify cost savings, improve revenue control, and enhance mass ingress/egress during events
  • Coordinate with event promoters, APD, Cal Trans, and City Traffic Management to ensure efficient and safe traffic flow
  • Responsible for the submittal of APD labor requests
  • Oversee the interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and supervision of Parking department staff
  • Determine proper staffing levels for supervisors, cashiers, and attendants for each event type
  • Maintain employee availability information, shift changes and day-off requests
  • Manage employee scheduling and availability information in electronic timekeeping software
  • Develop and monitor rideshare logistics, planning and management
  • Partner with HR to create a comprehensive employee transportation program and related communications plan
  • Help manage the vendor relationship for daily shuttle operations, with in-house shuttle operations going in-house once ocV!BE opens
  • Maintain parking equipment inventories and provide input to the Vice President of Parking & Transportation regarding parking logistics
  • Complete special projects as assigned
Skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar role with event parking, traffic, or valet management in a manager or supervisory role
  • Shuttle management experience preferred
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and shift priorities when appropriate
  • Able to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Solid financial acumen and able to create and manage budgets, analyze data, and produce insightful reports
  • Demonstrated experience in rideshare planning, logistics, and management
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and experience in managing shuttle operations
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, electronic timekeeping software, and other relevant technology tools
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions in a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
