Provide professional anesthesia care to WestHealth patients, to ensure a positive surgical experience for our clients
Prepares operating room and anesthesia equipment to facilitate smooth operation of surgical suite and to optimize client's anesthesia experience
Coordinates patient care with WestHealth staff, anesthesiologists and surgeons to develop best anesthesia / surgical plan for each patient
Delivers consistently high quality anesthesia care to WestHealth patients in accordance with AANA Guidelines for Nurse Anesthesia
Develops person! al competency in providing professional anesthesia care
Pa! rticipates in WestHealth initiatives to improve service and quality of car our patients
Supports efforts to maintain smooth operations of surgery and anesthesia departments
Education
Registered Nurse with current Minnesota licensure
Compliance with all state regulations
Graduation from an approved program of nurse anesthesia
Certification as CRNA by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council of Certification and compliance with all requirements for biennial recertification
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 3 years prior experience as a CRNA
Licensure/Certifications
ACLS
BLS
Other: PALS
License Required: Yes
RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility
