TRIA is seeking a full-time BC/BE interventional physiatrist or anesthesiologist! independent contractor. With a proven patient volume for a busy two-physician practice, we are looking for a person interested in building a comprehensive, and patient centered pain management program to add this important element to our extensive array of musculoskeletal services.
This is the first of the two positions and will serve as the program’s medical director. This person will work with operational and clinical leadership to create the plan for the development of the TRIA Pain Management program for the long-term. Space and capital have been allocated to create a specific clinic pod for this program. This position will play a significant role in the design of this new space to optimize efficiency and the patient experience. This person will also be integral in the selection and development of the pain management team including the recruitment of additional pain management specialists as needed. With over 45 physicians at TRIA, including an active spine ! program with three different part-time spine surgeons and two ! physician assistants, building effective working relationships with our physicians and mid-level providers will also be very important for this role.
The clinical aspects of this position involve providing all spinal injections, cervical and lumbar rhizotomies and sympathetic blocks along with management and follow-up with patients experiencing acute pain. Practice will consist mainly of muscular skeletal complications. Pain management fellowship required. Leadership experience preferred.
