Job Description
The CRNA is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of anesthesia care for all assigned patient population(s). The CRNA is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines. The CRNA coordinates care with other members of the health care team.
Basic Qualifications:
Masters degree in Nurse Anesthesia from accredited program; Minnesota RN License & current CRNA license; American Association of Nurse Anesthetist (AANA) certification or Board eligible National Board CRNA certification (NBCRNA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Knowledge of developmental stages and age appropriate outcomes and interventions
Knowledge of cultural differences and culturally appropr! iate outcomes and interventions
Care planning skills
K! nowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and equipment related to the practice of anesthesia
Technical Anesthesia skills related to assigned patient populations
Knowledge of regional anesthesia principals
Critical thinking skills
Knowledge of emergency and other relevant policies and procedures
Prioritization skills
Evaluation skills
Regional Block Skills
Knowledge of pain management principles and current conscious sedation guidelines
Strong interpersonal skills Computer skills
Excellent customer service skills
License or Certification:
RN License & current CRNA license; American Association of Nurse Anesthetist (AANA) certification or Board eligible
Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Hours/Pay Period: 80
Schedule Details: Call is variable, averages 1:6. Post call day is typically off, but if needed may be required to work post call.
Weekend Schedule: Variable call schedule,! weekends average 1:6
