Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 10/0! 1/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
CRNA needed for medium sized hospital in Minnesota. Provider will be unsupervised, performing general surgery, urology, eye blocks, orthopedic blocks, gynecological robotics, and OB epidurals. This is an ongoing opportunity starting October 1st.
A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
