Description: St. Cloud Hospital is at present recruited Surgical Technologist right now, this position will be delegated in Minnesota. The surgical technologist is a member of the surgical team working with physicians! , CRNAs, registered nurses and other surgical personnel in delivering quality patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during and after surgery. The surgical technologist works under the direct supervision of the registered nurse and/or the surgeon. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Maintains a positive attitude in the work environment. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of Surgical Technologist Program required.
EXPERIENCE
Basic knowledge of surgical technologist duties and responsibilities.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation.
Certification preferred.
