The Preoperative Assessment Center (PAC) certified medical assistant performs delegated medical procedures and support functions under the direction of an Anesthesiologist, Nurse Practitio! ner, and RN staff in the delivery of care for all preoperative patient populations. The CMA is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure and practice guidelines. CMA will also be cross-trained to work in the Pain Center.
Job Qualifications:
Vocational /Technical Training or Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. Medical Assistant Certification (MN) Maintains certification by retesting or by maintaining required CEU level as determined by the AAMA. BLS. 1 to 3 years experience.
