MIMIS is a surgical pro! gram that includes 15 board certified Surgeons, 2 Anesthesiologists, and 5 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists who are focused on cutting edge technology and minimally invasive techniques. We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our progressive surgical services team completing 5000 cases last year. An exciting full time opportunity for a CRNA in a progressive, state of the art medical campus. Our campus includes a unique critical access hospital in a rural region of northern MN that boasts a center of excellence for both bariatrics and orthopedics. This is a non-supervised position allowing for a high level of autonomy under an independent-collaborative practice model. Employment offer would include a residency and response time requirement. Essential Skills and Experience:
1 year of previous independent CRNA experience or ! 2 years of supervised experience required.
Holds current s! tate licensure as registered nurse in the State of Minnesota, and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing.
Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification eligibility, initial certification or recertification:
Meets criteria 1 and 2 above, and is waiting initial certification; or
Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor; or
Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required.
