Manages the business, professional and technical program operations of the Anesthesia department in collaboration with the Anesthesia/CRNA Managers. Works in partnership with Anesthesia leadership in the planning and controlling of operational and capital budgets. Responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance, providing leadership to the organization and within the department on continuous process improvement, overseeing operational activities of typically 65 FTE Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SMMC, SMHS and MDMC locations), supervising business operations, developing and maintaining business operational systems and processes, communicating results of studies/analyses, and maintaining financial analysis procedur! es and models, methods and tools. Supervises, directs and coor! dinates the support staff on the patient charging, billing, documentation compliance and inventory. The Business Manager assists with orientation and ongoing education for staff and has input into program development. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others.
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

Education and/or years experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a health related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in health care facility with leadership experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in financial analysis and billing.
