- Administer intravenous, inhalation, and other anesthetics to patients undergoing surg! ical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs in a manner consistent with current standards
- Maintain records of anesthetic administered
- Maintain anesthesia equipment to insure proper functioning
- Functions as a resource person in controlling pain
