Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital is looking for an anaesthetist to join our group to provide elective and emergent anaesthetic care. We are presently 4 FRCP Anaesthetist with one leaving in June but with the hope of building to 5-6 in total. Our 75-bed hospital serves a large geographical area that includes 100,000 in population. Surgical services include General , Orthopedic, OB/Gyne, ENT, Plastics, Urology and Ophthalmology.
Labour Analgesia service provided for approximately 300 deliveries per year, epidural rate approx 15%. Anesthesia Consultation Clinic and Acute Pain Management in place. Possible ICU work if interested. On call MOCAP Level 1
