Summary: Under direct supervision receives, stores, selects and loads products within warehouse by performing the following duties as directed by immediate supervisor or Operations Manager.
Note: Union position, starts at $21.45/hour, great benefits.
Responsibilities:
· Operate material handling equipment up to 95% of the time.
· Selection and preparation of customer orders.
· Read pick tickets, pick labels, and assemble customer orders.
· Load trailers with merchandise scheduled to be shipped.
· Operates within applicable safety guidelines as per government regulations.
· Maintains performance at or above productivity standards.
· Ensures proper warehouse cleanliness is maintained.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 1 year warehouse experience.
- Experience with electric ride-on pallet jack preferred.
- Experience in operating material handling equipment such as hand jacks, forklifts, reach’s, order pickers, and other various material handling equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Have the motivation to sustain in a physically demanding environment.
- Be flexible to work any hours, any days, and overtime.
- Attention to detail
