Job Responsibilities and Duties (Including but not limited to):

  • Use the appropriate protocol to greet, welcome, and direct visitors and volunteers.
  • Be a mission and service-driven employee dedicated to being a collaborative member of the SMPrep community.

  • Maintain a safe and secure campus by following established procedures for school visitors.
  • Engage in professional and effective telephone and email communications.
  • Manage work in a busy, dynamic front school office, and maintain a clean and orderly reception area.
  • Build collaboration with all staff through effective, timely, and pertinent communication.
  • Contributes to the community by accomplishing related tasks as required.

  • Timely and Appropriate Information Sharing with Staff
  • Organization Skills
  • Ability to Prioritize Work
  • Ability to Handle Pressure and Diffuse Problems
  • Computer Skills (basic office programs)
  • Customer-focused (parents and students)
  • Dedication to Service

Minimum Requirements:
Full-time job experience as a receptionist in a dynamic school or parish work environment
Proficient in the above-mentioned skills and qualifications.
Must be able to use a telephone system and a Mac desktop with common Microsoft and Apple Office programs.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
